The Zoom Q2n-4K Handy Video Recorder is tailor-made for musicians, offering high-resolution UHD 4K video capture combined with up to 24-bit/96 kHz audio recording capabilities. With five FOV (field-of-view) settings and one-button recording functionality, effortlessly capture solo performances or band rehearsals for sharing on social media or reviewing sessions.

Utilizing HDR (high dynamic range) technology, the Zoom Q2n-4K ensures well-exposed shots by intelligently adjusting exposure, maintaining proper lighting on your subject while avoiding overexposure from bright stage lights. The recorder supports various video formats including UHD 4K at 30/25/24 fps, 1080p at 60/50/30/25/24 fps, or 720p at 30/25 fps, saving recordings onto a microSD card with capacities up to 256GB at bit rates reaching 76 Mb/s.

Featuring a fixed-focus, wide-angle lens with a native 150° FOV and five selectable FOVs, the Q2n-4K offers versatility in framing wide or close-up shots. An f/2.8 lens aperture ensures clear images in low-light environments, complemented by 12 selectable scene modes such as Concert Light, Jazz Club, Outdoor, Monochrome, and Sepia, each optimizing settings based on ambient light conditions.

The stereo condenser mics, arranged in an X/Y pattern, can handle sound pressure levels up to 120 dB, ideal for capturing loud rock stages with clarity. Additionally, an audio-only mode records standalone WAV files up to 24-bit/96 kHz, featuring auto gain, a low-cut filter, a 3.5mm line-in/mic-in port, and a headphone output for monitoring.

Connectivity options include a micro-USB port for linking to computers or iOS devices (adapter may be required), enabling use as a webcam for streaming or for transferring data. The HDMI port allows for viewing recordings on large monitors. Powered by two AA batteries (sold separately), the Q2n-4K offers up to 30 minutes of recording time in UHD 4K, one hour in 1080p, or two hours in 720p. Mount the recorder on a standard tripod using the bottom 1/4"-20 thread or with the separately available BCQ-2n external battery case.
